Friends of West Greenwich Libary

West Greenwich Library is a vibrant community space offering activities for children and adults, art exhibitions, computer access, and books. The library first opened in 1905 from funds donated by philanthropist Andrew Carneige and it was fully restored in 2009.

The Friends of West Greenwich Library started in 1991 when the library was threatened with closure. The campaign to save the library was successful, and since that time the Friends have continued to support the library in numerous ways.
